Gov. Christie Gauging Support for Menendez Replacement

Sources deep within the Garden State are saying Gov. Chris Christie (R-New Jersey) is calling on supporters to “test names of replacements for Senator Menendez, (D-New Jersey)”

The Senator is embroiled in an alleged scandal involving underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.

The shortlist of names includes State Senator Thomas Kean Jr., son of former New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean, Sr. (1982-90) as well as Menendez’ 2012 opponent, Joe Kryillos.
