‘Sweet Caroline’ Sales to be Donated to Boston Bombing Victims

“So good! So good! So good!” The ingrained response from the crowd in the chorus of Neil Diamond‘s classic hit song “Sweet Caroline” has new meaning.

Diamond announced that sales from the iconic song this week will all be donated to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing tragedy.

The song has been a staple at Red Sox home games for more than a decade, and many MLB teams played it in their stadiums this week to honor the city of Boston.

Nielsen Sound scan reported yesterday that sales of the tune are up 597 percent since the attack - having sold 19,000 tracks this week alone.

So good, indeed.
