The Billboard Music Awards 2013 were held in Las Vegas last evening! While the awards are all about the music and the performances, ViralRead‘s eye was on the red carpet fashion!

Overall, the dresses (and other garments…) were underwhelming to say the least. If there was a contest for the most yawn worthy awards show red carpet, the Billboard Music Awards would definitely be a top contender.

But, there were a select few ladies that did come dressed to impressed! So, without further ado, we present ViralRead’s Best Dressed of the Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet 2013!

#4 Nicki Minaj

No, your mind is not playing tricks on you! Nicki Minaj has made a best dressed list! Much to ViralRead’s disbelief, Miss Super Bass herself pulled it out in a stunning red gown. Match it with some serious curls and this girl looked absolutely fabulous!

#3 Taylor Swift

There should be no surprise that Taylor made it to the best dressed list… again. Thank you for proving that not all that glitters is gold! Taylor rocked a royal blue sparkly mini dress with long sleeves and mesh cutouts (which were popular last night). Well done, Miss Swift!

#2 Miley Cyrus

This getup was on the fence for me between best dressed and worst dressed. But, ultimately, I think it works. While the print is a little reminiscent of carnival wear, it somehow works with the intricate crochet structure. Then, you add in the  ”she’s just being Miley” factor and it just all comes together!

#1 Selena Gomez

Yes, yes, another dress that was on the rocks for me, but hey, you have to take risks to stand out these days and that is just what Selena did! Miss Gomez is definitely trying to make the transition from teen pop idol to sexy pop icon recently. ViralRead loves the modern, simplistic feel with the sassy cutouts and neon embellishments! She doesn’t need to be singing in order for us to want to come and get it!
