Governor Rick Perry signed a new law on Friday that looks to limit the government’s ability to read private emails.

Despite widespread outrage, the NSA expresses no remorse and has no intention of shutting down controversial programs that track the communications activity of billions of Americans.

Companies including Reddit, Mozilla and the ACLU are sending a letter to Congress asking lawmakers to end the controversial NSA program, PRISM.
