NASCAR legend Richard ‘Dick’ Trickle died on Thursday at age 71 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Carlos Arredondo, who has been seen in a now-infamous (warning: graphic content) photo pinching a victim’s femoral artery while escorting him in a wheelchair to an ambulance, shakes uncontrollably as he describes in the video below what the bomb site looked like immediately after the explosion - and what he did to help and comfort the victims. The most heart-wrenching part is when he tells of the woman that he saw suffering, but was unable to assist because he could “only help only one at a time.”

After a hiatus, Mad Men is back.

The second season premier kicks off with a point of view shot of a heart attack.

From this we are taken to a Hawaiian beach with a Dante’s Inferno narration. And with that the last season of Mad Men is off.

Davidson Middle School in Southgate, MI, about fifteen miles outside Detroit, went into lockdown Thursday morning after an eighth-grader used a gun to commit suicide.
According to the Detroit News, the 14-year-old boy shot himself in the head with a .40 caliber Glock before classes started at 8 a.m. The News said he was found by another student in the school. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

Southgate Schools Superintendent William Grusecki said the boy did leave a note.
The Detroit Free Press noted that the school had no metal detectors.
