Team Romney has been trying to convince media reporters covering the conventions to call the stadium here in Charlotte by its name-Bank of America Stadium. However, Democrats have been running away from any optics that might associate them with Wall Street, which most believe would disassociate the base with this years mantra. In the past weeks it has been called Panthers Stadium and about everything else under the sun…

Well, Democrats slipped up. The press passes for today show the venue as “Bank of America Stadium”. Obviously, due to weather reports, Democrats moved President Obama’s speech back into the Time Warner arena, but members of the media are still required to wear Thursday’s printed passes.
