The righting of wrongness begins with the title of Switek’s book: “My Beloved Brontosaurus: On the Road With Old Bones, New Science and Our Favorite Dinosaurs.” As most 9-year-olds could probably tell you, there’s officially no such thing as a Brontosaurus. With more advanced technology, scientists will get a better understanding of the lives and disappearance of dinosaurs. Many myths and legends have come from the findings of dinosaur bones, and many misconceptions about dinosaurs have also been made over the years.
We may never know all of the story of the dinosaurs, but through technology we can get a better understanding of them.
