Sen. Feinstein Proposes Ban on Scary Looking Guns

Senator Dianne Feinstein surrounded herself with weapons about which she knows nothing, people about which she cares not, and a subject matter that she has successfully distorted for countless millions of unsuspecting Americans. She created a media circus to introduce legislation that will ban the manufacture, sale or import of more than 150 conveniently mistermed “assault weapons.” Those who already own these firearms will just need to undergo a background check, and submit their fingerprints to be validated by local law enforcement.

Banning these firearms will likely do exactly zero to reduce gun violence in this country, but the senator lamented the fact that 350 people have been killed with weapons included in the ban since 2004, while failing to mention that roughly 30,000 people have been killed every year since that same time period by guns not mentioned by the newly proposed ban.

Feinstein explained that “we should be outraged by how easy it is for the perpetrators of these horrific crimes to obtain these lethal weapons.” This isn’t a terribly shocking statement coming from the same woman who explains that these weapons are targeted not because of some extra lethal function, but because of excessive cosmetic gadgetry that gives a firearm the appearance of a military-style gun.
