It’s not often that things go this right for a city: Boston pro sports teams enjoyed a 3-0 rout vs the field last night. After their recent ordeal - you know, terrorists, police lockdown etc - they probably deserved a little good sports karma.
In the NBA Playoffs the Celtics beat the Knicks 92-86 to pull within 3-2 in that best of seven series
Side note: If the Celtics do come back and beat the Knicks, they will join the Red Sox as the other Boston team to stick it to a New York team by coming back from 3-0. Talk about the ultimate burn!
Next up is the NHL Playoffs (yes, that’s happening). The Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs (such a scary team name) 4-1 in the opening game of their series.
And last but not least the venerable Boston Red Sox pounded on the Toronto Blue Jays (an only slightly more scary team name), beating them 6-0 behind a great performance from Clay Buchholz.

Stay strong Boston. But maybe take it easy on Toronto.
