Cancer does not discriminate: it never has and never will. So when Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at the age of 14 and was told a year ago that he had only 1 year to live, he knew exactly what he wanted to do. He wrote a song about his fight against cancer and the journey of meeting the end. Zach was essentially a rock star with a cause and his song “Clouds“, released in December of 2012, went viral receiving more than 3 million views on You Tube.

Even though Zach lost his fight to cancer this past Monday morning surrounded by those who loved him the most, his legacy of hope, faith, and determination to make the best of life even when it throws you a curveball will never be forgotten.
