But now, much to the assured disillusionment of millions of 60-something Man From U.N.C.L.E. fans, Cruise has now joined the ranks of celebrities to leave the film. Hammer and Ritchie remain signed-on, but the search will now begin for Cruise’s replacement.
The official reason for Cruise’s departure is scheduling conflicts with Mission: Impossible 5, but maybe Warner Bros. was just being glib…
