There’s a lot of people in the media these days in hot water over racist allegations and there seems to be no end in sight.
Scoot on over, Paula Deen, and make room for former reality TV star Kate Gosselin.
That’s right folks, she’s back in the news and it’s not good.
No explanation needed, this picture was posted on Sunday via Twitter:
Kate Gosselin responded on her blog today that the picture was meant to be private and was taken years ago during her good days with ex-husband Jon Gosselin. They were just “goofing off” she said, stating the Asian wig was a gift from one of their fans.
“A common topic of our show was ‘everybody’s Asian’ – except for mommy, so a thoughtful fan figured she’d help me look Asian too!” Gosselin writes.
She went on further to say “It’s normal to talk about and even ‘exaggerate’ the feature differences between family members of a biracial family…”
What you do you think? Makes sense or is she digging herself into a bigger hole.
Wonder how she’s going to explain this one to her 8 kids. You know, the ones who are all a quarter Korean.
Good grief! Everyone is so darn sensitive these days. I totally believe her. How prejudice could she be if she married someone of Asian descent and her children are part Asian?
