Late Saturday evening, Sergeant Randy Lamb of the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office was going about his day when he was called to a residence to check out a dispute between neighbors.

The evening ended with a shocked cop, an aggressive wet kiss on the nose and an arrest.

What’s in a kiss? A felony battery charge, that’s what.

Bond is  set at $5000 and Peggy Hill, 62 of Florida, is scheduled for a court appearance on July 19th.

She told the officers after the arrest that she had consumed 3 glasses of wine.

So the lesson in all this is?

Don’t get drunk, don’t get into arguments with your neighbors and never ever kiss a cop on duty.
