Earlier today @SCOTUSblog informed us that the Supreme Court will most likely not be ruling on prop 8, creating mixed responses throughout the country.
Arguments done. #scotus won’t uphold or strike down #prop8 bc Kennedy thinks it is too soon to rule on #ssm. #prop8 will stay invalidated.

Many are encouraging the Supreme Court to rule on #MarriageEquality…
“Sorry, Carl, you won’t be able to treat your cancer under your husband’s insurance plan bc it’s Too Soon to consider you human.” #SCOTUS

Special rightslike SSM,that gays insist upon are based on deviant behavior. Why validate that by giving them benefits for it? #SCOTUS

Pls stop the “religious liberty” arguments, #ssm proponents. No church here has been forced by the STATE to ban gay marriages. #KeepItReal

While the outcome of the #SSM debate is unclear, one thing is for certain: this issue is not going to be going away anytime soon. Unless, of course, a meteor hits Earth and we all vanish like the dinosaurs.
