“I Give It A Year,” a British comedy with Rose Byrne, Minnie Driver, Anna Faris, and Simon Baker, premiered in America at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. This farcical film chronicles the newlywed not-quite-bliss of Byrne and Rafe Spall, as no one around them thinks they’ll make it together. Clichés abound, such as ex’s and co-workers who seem perfect for each of the spouses.
Maybe because of the excellent cast, it seems like it’ll work.
