During a Clinton School lecture in Little Rock, Arkansas on Thursday, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi told an audience of several hundred that she ‘prays’ Hillary Clinton will run for president in 2016.

“Nobody has been first lady and senator and now secretary of state,” Pelosi explained. “Putting everything aside that she is a woman, she’d be the best qualified person that we’ve seen [in recent years].”

While the former House Speaker clarified that she has no knowledge of any plans Clinton may have to run for the position, she maintained that putting Clinton in the White House would be ‘such a lift’ for the world.
