Mom Teaches Daughter a Lesson About Bullying by Making Her Wear Thrift Shop Clothes

Ally, a  mom from Utah, is taking a stand against against bullying. When she found out her daughter was calling kids names like “slob” and “sleaze” based on their clothes, she had heard enough. She bought about $50 worth of thrift shop clothes and made her daughter wear them the next day. Now we all love thrift shops, but her daughter was not pleased. After becoming the butt of everyone’s jokes, the daughter learned a valuable lesson on the Golden Rule. It truly is better to treat others as you would want to be treated.

Despite what some people say, I think she’s doing it right.
