Among the many celebrities reacting to the Oklahoma tornado, one in particular “struck-home.” That reaction came from the man who’s home the tornado struck, country singer Toby Keith. His hometown of Moore, Oklahoma, was devastated by the tornado but in an E Online report Keith focused on the strength of the residents to endure. “People here are so resilient,” he said.

Casualties have already numbered 24 with an additional 200 injured. Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett and others have cited the financial toll to be upwards of $2 billion in damage.
In true “Whisky for my men, beer for my horses,” fashion, Keith’s son-in-law, despite his own injuries, raced to one of the elementary schools to help rescue trapped children, beating first responders to the scene.
Other country music celebrities with Oklahoma roots have spoken out in support of Moore, OK, including Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton who live in Tishomingo, OK.
