New evidence was released in the Trayvon Martin case this past Thursday by the George Zimmerman defense team - specifically, photos came from Martin’s cell phone. Videos were reportedly also pulled along with texts, and all data extracted will likely be used. According to WFTV:
Circuit Judge Debra Nelson allowed the defense to delve into Martin’s personal life and phone records, ruling the information could be relevant if it showed the teenager had a propensity for violence.
WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said there’s a good chance the judge will allow the evidence, because it is relevant to the defense argument that Martin started the fight.

As of now, it is unconfirmed if the firearm shown - or the marijuana plant - were Martin’s. However, this may be enough evidence to alter the trial’s proceedings significantly.
well just let trayvon rest in peace please!!!!
