As first reported by TMZ, San Antonio Spurs‘ star Tim Duncan is trying to delay his recently confirmed divorce until after what he hopes is a championship playoff run.

Duncan’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Amy filed for divorce in March citing “discord and conflict.”

Legal documents, filed by Tim Duncan in Bexar County, Texas, make the case that his employment “is currently making extraordinary demands on him and hopefully will continue to make those demands for the next 30 or so days.”
