Much to the horror of anyone who wishes Hollywood would come up with some new ideas, the latest Fast and Furious film smashed anticipated box office returns. With almost $40 million on opening day, the sixth teat on the Furious cow looks to be nowhere near dry.

For those who skipped high school, college, or any other depository of pop culture, the Fast and Furious franchise is not the failed gun smuggling tracking operation headed by the Department of Justice. It is, however, a movie series that defies the laws of physics.

So buckle up folks, the seventh teat in the series is due to be milked in July of 2014.
