Heat Even Series 2-2 Behind 31 Points From Rejuvenated Dwayne Wade

Responding in strong fashion to getting blown out on Tuesday, the Miami Heat came through in a must win game to even the series with the San Antonio Spurs at 2-2. For Dwayne Wade it was Throwback Thursday as he put on a performance reminiscent of himself circa 2006.

The Heat are clearly a different team when D-Wade is playing at a high level.

The Heat also relied on some tenacious defense, totaling 7 blocks at key moments and forcing 18 turnovers. The Spurs kept the game close until the 4th quater, but struggled with the small lineup of the heat who started Mike Miller instead of Udonis Haslem for the first time this series.

The Heat are now 6-0 after a loss in these playoffs and haven’t lost consecutive games since January.

For fun, check out Greg Popovich being his usual animated and candid self.

Game 5 is on Sunday, the last game in San Antonio before the series shifts back to Miami.
