Justin Bieber Surpasses Miley Cyrus, Becomes Youngest Artist With Five #1 Albums

Pop star Justin Bieber, 18, has become the youngest artist to achieve five No. 1 albums. Believe Acoustic, released last June, became his fifth album to go viral selling over 211,000 copies in its first week.

The album features eight acoustic covers of tracks originally released in the 2012 Believe studio album. However, Believe Acoustic also introduces three new songs: “Yellow Raincoat,” “I Would” and “Nothing Like Us.”

Bieber’s previous No. 1 albums include: My World 2.0 (2010), Never Say Never: The Remixes (2011), Under the Mistletoe (2011), and Believe (2012).

With his latest accomplishment, Bieber surpasses Miley Cyrus to take the crown and become not only the youngest artist to have five No. 1 albums, but only one of nine artists to have a No. 1 album for four consecutive years.
