Knicks Defeat Pacers in Game 5

The New York Knicks keep pressing on as they defeated the Indiana Pacers in Game Five of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals Wednesday night 85-75.

The Knicks knew this was a do or die moment for them. “Tonight it was just one of them days where you just got to leave it out there on the basketball court,” Carmelo Anthony said after the game.

Anthony scored 28 himself, with fellow starter Ray Felton following by adding 12 points to the board.

“I think as a coach you come into games like this and you want to see who’s going to step up and make plays, and I thought we did that tonight. We were the better team in terms of doing that,” Knicks coach Mike Woodson said.

The Knicks will go on to play the Pacers in Game 6 on Saturday in Indiana.
