Washington, D.C. is gearing up for the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner tonight. Comedian and talk show host Conan O’Brian will host the event which brings together journalists, government officials, politicians and media personalities to poke fun at one another. O’Brien has tweeted and referenced his next gig several times:

Deadline.com reports that
George Clooney, Ari Emanuel and Charlize Theron won’t be there like last year. But castmembers of A&E’s reality hit Duck Dynasty will be along with Obama bundlers Jeffrey Katzenberg and Harvey Weinstein plus Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Barbra Streisand.
DRAMA ALERT: Despite their application for tables at the annual nerd dinner, Buzzfeed won’t be attending. Their response? Throw their own party… DURING (and after) the Correspondents’ Dinner!
According to Mediabistro, the “entire NY based Politics team, including founder Jonah Peretti, is making the trek.” BBQ With Buzzfeed will have pedicabs sponsored by Geico, guaranteeing transportation for those coming from the WHCD in “15 minutes or less.”
Basically, the Buzzfeed party seems like the “MORP” of the evening. Don’t worry Buzzfeed, ViralRead wasn’t invited either…
